Braves Look to Rebound Today as they Send Jo-Jo to the Mound
Posted by m1fournier on May 13, 2009
After a tough loss last night in extra innings the Braves look to turn it around. Today’s pitching matchup will include Jo-Jo Reyes going to the mound for the Braves as the Mets send lefty Jon Niese. Reyes so far this year is 0-2 with a 5.48 ERA and has 20 strikeouts, and his last start was plagued by the long ball. Reyes is 0-9 in his last 17 starts so today he looks for a win.
Many of the Braves hitters have yet to face Niese so it will be interesting to see how they fair against him. The Braves look to end this road trip on high note, and win their 6th game of the road trip. Today’s game starts at 1:10 pm and will be played at Citi field in New York.
Go Braves!
